Im an Iranian artist and i do political protest art.
Because of the political nature of my art i saw NFTs as a way to get my voice out there in the world and tbh didnt expect anything to happen back then and i just wanted to document the true stories that happened in Iran in a unique way and hope that ten/twenty years down the road someone would find them on the blockchain and know that we lived and breathed in this world and the most evil of people killed us for it.
im a political person, i have always have been like that and my art comes from the anger and sadness of living under a dictatorship rule. i just try to polish it and make it geometric and clean.
i never wanted to restrict my art to my own country, so i try to make protest art in general and hope to find more people who feel the same as me.
almost all pieces i have happen in the same universe which i call “Dystopia” and in that world all are “Dystopians”, some are “Rebels”, some are “Outsiders” and some are “Dead”, you can find unique storylines like “Dystracts” or the “Blood Moon Triptych”
i like continuity in art so i use diptychs, triptychs, parallel or connected pieces a lot.
after all i started doing all of this to tell stories and stories need to be connected. gm.
